Valentines Shmalentines

Well, things did not exactly go according to plan today. Will did get me some beautiful flowers and I got him stuff, but that was about all that went right. I forgot to get Valentines for my own kids cause I was so busy getting all the kids' classmates stuff and my parents stuff and Will's parent's stuff, etc. So I hurried and made some on the computer before they noticed, (I think.) Then our babysitter never showed up and Will ended up waiting to meet me at the designated restaurant for 2 hours. Then we ended up having dinner with the kids at the restaurant, and that was ok, but Will hated his dinner and so he waited those 2 hours for nothing but bread sticks and about 12 diet cokes. The highlight of the evening was coming home to three large pizzas that I had ordered for the babysitter (who never came or even called!) and her kids to eat. Too bad we were full from the mediocre food and all the coke and breadsticks. Then, I watched a movie (Twilight!!! At least that was good) while Will spent a couple hours at my parent's house helping them out with some things. Not ideal, but fine. Then, to top it all off we find out that someone really close to me is getting a divorce, and I end up crying. Hope next year is better!
